[ddots-l] problems after upgrade

I could use some help from experienced guys out there. I just upgraded to CTW
5.2 and jaws 7.0. I am getting a poor response lots of dropping out and slow
performance when I open a project and try to do some work.
Prior to the upgrade the software performed much better an occasional dropout
but nothing like this.
I would greatly appreciate any ideas, I'm a novice so I'm pretty lost.
Almost forgot and this might be the most important piece, I also upgraded the
pc's memory to 1.3 gig. I'm not having any problems in Outlook or any other
programs.
