MessageGord, sorry I fell asleep. Could you give another shot. I won't be around this Saturday. The problem is that the default synth the micro soft one that loads when you open up a template. I recorded some midi tracks on 2 of these tracks and now I can't set them up with an audio track. There is no setting in the audio inputs for this synth? I can change them to TTS but don't want to because I like the sound of the trumpet. I'm not sure where to go. Question, why with this synth load up if we can't mix it down to audio. I'm sure you can but I can't figure it. Maybe this info can help you answere what is probably very simple. This Wednesday I'm going to be tied up early in the evening checking out a new club that I will be gigging at, and then I have CHoir practice right after that. If you are still up, you could try me at around 10:00 Wednesday night, that would probably be best. My number is 202-332-9696. A braille and speak, that's a dinosaur for real. I load an audio track to set the midi track to it but general midi isn't an option. If I can call you Saturday Sunday that would be great. I did set the midi tracks to the tts1 with the audio track but the trumpet sound surprisingly isn't as good as the general midi so I was hoping I wouldn't have to settle for that. Let me know when I can call you. If your midi tracks are playing, then you do have an audio track associated with the tts1. If you want to separate your audio tracks so that you have different instruments for different audio tracks, then you'll need to bounce your midi tracks to the audio tracks. Alternatively, you can set different midi channels in the tts 1 to coe out of different audio outputs of the tts1. Maybe you need to call me to straighten this out. I loaded a new audio track but that didn't help. ----- Original Message ----- From: Kevin Gibbs To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, November 18, 2007 11:12 PM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: midi question Are you using a soft synth or a hardware module>? -----Original Message----- From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of thomas de rosa Sent: Monday, November 19, 2007 12:50 AM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] midi question Hi there, I need a quick reminder on bouncing general midi to audio.
