It's a sound editor/processing tool, like a word editor is for writing and
editing documents. Many use it for mixing and mastering the final projects,
also for editing samples and sounds etc. If you are good at and comftable
doing these things in sonar you'll be ok without it.

If I am working with Sonar 8.5 Producer, what would be the added benifit of
getting sound Forge? I don't know what sound Forge is or what it does. If
anyone can enlighten me with that the program is and what itdoes, thanks!
