  Subject: [ddots-l] Help with mbox2

Hi everyone I'm trying to use my mbox2 with Sonar, but I can't seem to get
the mbox to work as a recording device with iether Sonar, goldwave or Audacity.
It simpley isn't showing up as a recording device. I needed sighted help to
enstall it with its own version of pro-tools which by the way isn't accessible
for the blind. The people at the mbox website don't seem to have a clue about
making their software blind friendly. I don't actually need pro-tools, but
apparently the mbox does. Does anyone else have an mbox2, and if so could they
please tell me how to get the thing working. I was told an m-audio soundcard
is the best thing for recording music with Sonar, podcasting and other audio
work I have in the works, but so far I can't get anything to work with it, and
the m-audio people are no help. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks
from Lori Duncan.
