Slightly off-topic, I've subscribed to another list for networking and information-gathering purposes, and someone is raving about an audio editor called Reaper. I've never heard of it. Have any of you? Yes, Reaper is a light wate recording program just like Sonar, and oddly, some of the same keystrokes are used in ReAccess.

ReAccess is a Plugin that you will need to use to link up to Reaper after install and you can get it from the ReAccess website.
Please google it because I forgot the URL.
The ReAccess scripts are free, and what I do like about them is they not only work with JAWS, but audomadickly, wethere you have NVDA, or Window-eyes installed beside JAWS right then or later on, it will set up so that they'll work with Reaper after install, and they all use the same keystrokes as JAWS when you do install ReAccess. I do not have a licance for the Reaper recording program myself, but I do hope to get one soon, it's a grate program and could really be handy when working with Sonar, that's only one app I can say that you can use with the highly used screenReaders really quickly.
Reaper can be downloaded or bought from

I think, and go ahead and download the trial first and also before you install it, Google ReAccess and install that, but you'll need to install reaper first so the Scripts can detect the needed files for ReAccess to work.

I might also add that in addition to audio editing, I also plan to be a Braille transcriptionist. I figure if I can do one or the other of those things freelance and the other full-time, that would be ideal. Now if I can just convince BVR of my plan.

That's a grate thing! Cool!
