[ddots-l] Automation, possible bug?

Hi folks.

I'm using Sonar 8.5 with the apprpraite CakeTalking scripts.

I'm trying to automate a fade out of a track, here what I do.
go to the point where I want to start the fade out and enable automation record on. 

shift double v to the volume.

Press control R.

I'm then told that an automation snapshot was taken.

But the help says that it's control and 2 r's is the snapshot commend.
When I press control and 2 R's, I'm told that this keystroke on takes a max of 2 press. 

What's going on with this?
