What exactly are you trying to do with it? Are you trying to get in to it or are you trying to manipulate it's properties? ----- Original Message ----- From: Matt Brown To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, April 03, 2007 1:38 PM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Access to V sampler! I know that SFZ is part of Sonar suite, but it only allows for soundfont files, whereas V Sampler allows for all kinds of sample formats. I'm just surprised that CakeTalking doesn't support it when it appears to be the only sampler available that even comes close to having cooperative backend code for us to utilise for accessibility. I figured that because V Sampler used to be part of the suite, Dancing Dots would have continued support for it because of this. Hello: VSampler has not been a part of the cakewalk sonar suite since Sonar 3. CT does not support it at present. You may have confused it with the SFZ sampler, which we do support. Hi, I posted a message about this a few days ago, but no one replied so I'm posting again! I thought CakeTalking supported V Sampler which has been a part of the Sonar suite for ever, but I couldn't get it to work the other day! One of the reasons I bought CakeTalking is that I had been lead to believe it had full support for this software sampler, which allows you to use a number of sample formats, but it seems CakeTalking only supports SFZ which is only a sound font player. I really really desperately need access to a decent sampler! Has anyone been able to get CakeTalking to work with it?
