Okay then, try this.
1 Go to your insert menu.
2 Go to soft synth submenu and choose V sampler.
3 After inserting the Vsampler hit alt v and then H to get in to the symth
rack.
4 Go to the Vsampler hit enter and then P for properties.
5 Now, you need to rute Jaws to PC.
6 arro up or down until you hear jaws say presets.
7 Position your kerser over the first e in the word presets.
8 Now hold shift and alt together and use the arro keys to go down. Jaws should
say mouse down
9 when I position my kerser over the first E in the word presets and I mouse
down about 8 times then hit enter an open dialog appears.

10 Once you find a sample you want to load hit enter and there you go.

I hope this helps you.

I'm trying to just load instruments and use it like a softsynth with presets.
I'm not bothered about being able to edit the sounds, just use them as they are.

What exactly are you trying to do with it? Are you trying to get in to it
or are you trying to manipulate it's properties?

I know that SFZ is part of Sonar suite, but it only allows for soundfont
files, whereas V Sampler allows for all kinds of sample formats. I'm just
surprised that CakeTalking doesn't support it when it appears to be the only
sampler available that even comes close to having cooperative backend code for
us to utilise for accessibility. I figured that because V Sampler used to be
part of the suite, Dancing Dots would have continued support for it because of
this.

        Hello:
VSampler has not been a part of the cakewalk sonar suite since Sonar 3.
CT does not support it at present. You may have confused it with the SFZ
sampler, which we do support.

Hi, I posted a message about this a few days ago, but no one replied
so I'm posting again! I thought CakeTalking supported V Sampler which has been
a part of the Sonar suite for ever, but I couldn't get it to work the other day!

One of the reasons I bought CakeTalking is that I had been lead to
believe it had full support for this software sampler, which allows you to use
a number of sample formats, but it seems CakeTalking only supports SFZ which is
only a sound font player.

I really really desperately need access to a decent sampler! Has
anyone been able to get CakeTalking to work with it?

          Matt
