It may depend on the version of Tablemate that you have. I have 5.03b
and it runs well on VARPC on a mac. My firm thought is that Tablemate
should also run on VARPC on Windows.
The hopefully good news is that CJE Micro's is working on an upgrade to
Tablemate.
