[softwarelist] Copy and paste of guide lines

Is there a way to paste guide lines?
They can be cut or copied but there doesn't seem to be a way to paste
them back into a page.
At the moment I've resorted to saving as DDL stripping out the relevant
DDL code that produces the guides saving as a separate DDL file that
can be dragged back into the required page (or master page), but I'm
sure there should be a more elegant way of transferring guide lines from
one page to another - or from one document to another.
