I've bandaged fingers with worse than dirty rags and never had an infection or problem - each person is different. Bruises are likewise - I played hard and heavy football on HS in 74 and got one or two bruises, no cracked or broken bones (a horse finally gave me my first cracked rib in 78 with it's rear hoof). I do carry band-aids and triple antibiotic in my tool case though as I hate getting printer ink and oil into a fresh cut (and I do get cut on this heavy freezer sized printing equipment). I always have isopropyl alcohol - I clean with it onsite and inshop, so I guess my cuts always get cleaned whether I want them to or not. => -----Original Message----- => From: computertalkshop-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx => [mailto:computertalkshop-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Hal Brown => Sent: Wednesday, March 06, 2002 3:04 PM => To: computertalkshop@xxxxxxxxxxxxx => Subject: [CTS] Re: Helppppp Mr Wizard! :-) => => => => On Wed, Mar 06, 2002 at 02:55:45PM -0500, Cuffy10@xxxxxxx duly noted: => >user......... a "technician". => >you might want to check and see if your friend and benefactor is still => >alive.............. he sounds like the type that would bandage => a cut finger => >with a dirty rag => ????..................................................<G> => --------end quoted text---------- => => LOL, gotta remember this one. => => -- => Hal Brown => mailto: hdb@xxxxxxx => ----------------------------------------------------------------- => ---------- => ----- => Computer Talk Shop http://www.computertalkshop.com => Un-subscribe/Vacation, => http://questforcertification.com/cts/list_options.htm => => List HowTo: http://questforcertification.com/cts/faq => => To join Computer Talk Shop's off topic list, please goto: => http://questforcertification.com/cts/other_cts_lists.htm => ----------------------------------------------------------------- => ---------- => ------ => --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----- Computer Talk Shop http://www.computertalkshop.com Un-subscribe/Vacation, http://questforcertification.com/cts/list_options.htm List HowTo: http://questforcertification.com/cts/faq To join Computer Talk Shop's off topic list, please goto: http://questforcertification.com/cts/other_cts_lists.htm --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------
