Telnet is a way to connect to remote computers and insert commands to interact with the computer itself, or with other users on the server. It is a good way to communicate with others, as well as operate on a PC remotely. Souce: http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/T/Telnet.htm I practiced with Telnet at http://www.retromud.org/ . I had actually used RetroMud four years ago for fun, as it is a text-based multi-user role playing game. I was able to connect and interact with an imaginary environment (such as landforms, items, and navigating the areas) and real people (talking to other players of the game). I learned that you have to be very specific with Telnet commands sometimes in order for it to understand what you want it to do. -Jared Batora __________________________________ Yahoo!
