I have found hundreds of .map files that will work with Chaoscope, these being available may be common knowledge to everyone, and I am just not aware of it, If these would be helpful in anyway, please let me know.. The web site may not be updated in time for the december contest, and my backlog of Chaoscope users emails is now reaching its critical mass. Sorry for the delay to all those who sent me an email, especially Jim Hauser! The good thing about all this is and having finished Half Life 2 is I have nothing to distract me from coding. I've ironed out a couple of bugs left in the new preview but I'm sure there's a few there for you to find. I've also added a new equation I mentioned a while ago, Chaotic Flow. It's similar to the two Lorenz's we've got with more parameters. It's not complete yet because I've got to find a way to allow the user to specify that X, Y or Z (the current coordinates of the orbit) may be used to replace constants in the equation. More on this later.
