This appears to be a bug in liblouisutdml when rendering a brf file. Those
additional blank lines are where the top and bottom boxlines should be. So
in your example, you would have a top boxline which by default is, I think,
cell 2-3-5-6 then your blank line before, then your blank line after, then
the bottom boxline which is cell 1-2-4-5.
