And, of course, you can use the transfer program first to select the folder that you want the file or files sent to. For instance, I have a Stephen King folder on my BP, so if I got a new King book, I'd open the transfer program, select the King folder, then switch to Windows Explorer to send the file, which will end up in the King folder. Naturally, if I hadn't chosen a folder first, as Marta says, the file would end up in the root directory. -----Original Message----- From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Yerba Bruja Sent: Friday, February 15, 2008 7:47 PM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] Re: creating folders That's right. I've sent many a files myself through the bookport that way. Sorry for forgetting to bring that up. I'd add one more thing though. If you send single files or books using the steps described by Walt, they'll end up in the bookport's root directory. Sometimes that can cause problems, as i've had the occasion to find out. So what you might want to do in order to avoid that, is put all the files you're sending in a folder, and then send the entire folder to the bookport using the steps described above. Marta
