Hi,
How the 7 and 9 keys work in audio files depends on whether they were
put on your CompactFlash card directly with Windows Explorer, or were
transferred using the Book Port transfer software. In the latter
case, if you don't have the file processed as music, the software
does its best to determine sentences, paragraphs and pages using
pause length, so 7 and 9 move roughly by page, which is probably
several paragraphs. In other audio files, they move by 30
seconds. I got this info from the frequently Asked Questions section
of the manual, which is Appendix B.
