To add another brand recommendation, I own and use a pair of Sony folding
travel speakers, model SRST-57. They're battery or AC powered (the AC "wall
wart" being an option) and for their size, they sound very good,
incorporating Sony's patented "Megabase" technology.
For those who find it difficult to get to local electronics stores or
choose not to shop online, they're available from IRTI in California.
