Yes, Bass is amazingly good for the size, however I really don't bother with
music on my TDK speaker, for music I prefer my sound system or high quality
headphones.
Because you can zip the BP inside the speaker/CD case, it meets a few of
Marlaina's external speaker requirements, but has no handles.

I have seen those here locally at Target and Wal-Mart and have often
wondered what they sound like. Do they actually get any kind of bass at =
all
out of those speakers, or is it pretty much a flat sound? It's a great =
idea
if they actually sound any good.

In Australia, not sure about elsewhere, TDK have a fantastic combo CD
carrier, which holds about ten CDS, and speaker. It runs on two =
double-A
batteries, and can hole the bookport, when zipped closed. Sound clarity =
is
excellent.
They have mono and stereo models, but the mono one is ideal and half the
size of the stereo one.
Battery life seems great, they use some new membrane speaker technology.
Music/CD stores are the main places that stock these locally.
