In Australia, not sure about elsewhere, TDK have a fantastic combo CD
carrier, which holds about ten CDS, and speaker. It runs on two double-A
batteries, and can hole the bookport, when zipped closed. Sound clarity is
excellent.
They have mono and stereo models, but the mono one is ideal and half the
size of the stereo one.
Battery life seems great, they use some new membrane speaker technology.
Music/CD stores are the main places that stock these locally.

I'm assuming these speakers need a power source. How long do they run on
batteries? also, are there some people know of which can be plugged in.
