Check with your local public library. They are most likely to have one or the other digital book services. -----Original Message----- From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Robert Clark Sent: Tuesday, May 29, 2007 4:09 PM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] Re: Converting Overdrive books to MP3. Barbara, Overdrive is a service that is available at *some* libraries. Contact your state library and ask them if they have it. Basically, its a lending service and the downloadable files are time limited, to 2 weeks. Past that and they do not play. These are newer titles, not public domain books, so its a good option. *---* *---* *---* *---* *---* If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then giving Fido only two of them. -- Phil Pastoret Robert & Dreamer Doll (Guide Dawggie) Newport, Oregon N24C 3G 8/2000 Hookup rclark0276@xxxxxxxxxxx http://webpages.charter.net/dog_guide/
