I know that Springer isn't against supporting dot doc files as I have
spoken with them about this and they were more than happy to let me work
on the issue if I were interested. Unfortunately, I've never had the time
to work on porting my code from PERL on UNIX to C or C++ on the Windows
platform. Maybe in the future though.
