I have the original SR2 articles from January 1964 Sports Car, July 1964 Sports
Car Graphic , and March 1964 Road and Track, and in ALL of the photos, there
does NOT appear to be a vertical panel between the rear of the door and the
rear body, like the SR3 has.

Can anyone tell me whether or not there was a body panel attached to the
bulkhead between the rear of the door and front edge of the rear bodywork on an
SR2 in period? If so how wide should it be? Photos show some cars with a
narrow panel, some with a slightly wider panel and some with a wider door and
no panel at all. I am looking to have the car period correct for 1963 (and
similar to the Chuck Dietrich car).
