I've seen a USB biometric fingerprint reader at some computer stores. It
wasn't that expensive, and it supported several users. I think this should
become the standard. If they want you to identify yourself, just ask for a
biometric identification.

I guess, however, that this might bee seen as invasion of privacy because
people could look you up in the criminal databases or what ever. :-)

I'm thinking I'm going to have to switch one of my bank accounts because of
this verification stuff. The trend is that some sites use this on every
login to help thwart hacking. I suppose the answer is kind of expensive,
really. One would need USB devices that you press a button on to get in, and
you'd register them the first time you log in. No hackers could probably
fool that if they haven't seen the code your device spits out, or has
possession of it.
