Hi Jamie,

I'd try ebay for affordable scanners. And as far as faster than your current scanner, I think you can't get any slower than that. I got my current scanner on ebay for $25.00 including shipping. I think it's absolutely reasonable to find one that will scan in at most twenty seconds from the start of the scan to the beginning of the next scan for under fifty dollars not including shipping on ebay. I'm cheap, or poor, however you look at it, so was really careful about price. My scanner is a Visioneer 5800 and will scan whatever you might want to scan, including pictures. Epsons are spoken of highly and I've seen them affordably on ebay. And you can even find them, scanners in general, new on ebay, if used products make you uneasy.

Good luck, and happy hunting. Hope I've offered some help you can use.

Peace,
Mayrie

I remember once we talked about fast but affordable
scanners.

My husband won $400 at his Christmas party last night
and said I could probably get a new scanner for
Christmas! Mine scans a page in about 90 seconds,
sometimes faster if I set it to B5. So I'm slow!

What can I get for about $100 that scans faster? Or do
they cost way more than that?
