Chuckle. I agree with you in principle, Ann, but if a person thinks he/she 
knows what the word means he/she isn't going to look it up. If someone thinks a 
synopsis is the same as a reviewer's comments on the back of the book, 
especially if he/she knows we can take them from the back of the book or the 
cover flaps, then they'll (deliberately switching to ungrammatical usage for 
the sake of ease in writing and reading) put that in the synopsis place and 
those of us who notice will have to look up the book and correct it. smile
