The staff is paid to give guidance.
Volunteers do what we do out of love for books and the concept of bookshare.
Getting people to do things well can be done in many ways. Whatever
way is chosen, the person needs to understand what is wanted. Using
large words they do not understand certainly may prove I am educated.
It may not get the person to do things correctly. Talking to somebody
in a condescending manner is going to only cause upset.
I may not always be tactful, Ann. I do assume people are intelligent
even if they may not know all the big words.
