No, Lissie. No problem. I, too, will doanything to save a book. I'll usually
put in page breaks, if I can figure them out at all. But sometimes it's
almost impossible.

I don't think Grace's comments were made with you in mind--most likely with me, since I'm the one who usually complains because I'd have like the chance to fix the books--especially since not all of them have anything else wrong with then. The last 4 have been almost perfect scans, the only thing wrong being that hard page breaks weren't there and sometimes page numbers were missing. But I've learned a lot about Native American wisdom and philosophy, and some history. Anyway, I've come to know Grace through her posts and some private correspondence and I'm not offended at all.

I appreciate your clarification on Bookshare's guidelines for rejecting books, Grace. I admit I'm impatient with reading all of the information I should. I know enough to prepare validations, but I have a one track mind and validation is all I really care about. With that in mind, I really shouldn't comment on topics I don't know enough about. In this case, not having done my homework, I realize I was expressing an opinion not well grounded in fact. Now I'm better informed.
