The problem was that my screen reader does not pause for blank lines and,
even though I was not completely unaware of it, the standard format for
email signatures does not often impinge on my consciousness, so I did not
even think to format mine that way. In fact, when I was changing the quote
this last time I did notice a blank line there and just removed it without
giving it much thought with the idea that the blank line would make it
look sloppy. So I do appreciate being informed when something about my
typing or formatting is causing a problem or confusion. As for placing my
name after my message, I have never done that because I have never seen a
reason to, but I have also never seen a reason not to, so since it was
mentioned as something that would serve as a seperator I went ahead and
inserted that too. I have no desire to make my email signatures more
imposing than the offensive ones, just equal to them.
