Jamie, I had a similar problem the other day. I was searching for Janis Cooke Newman. I put Cooke in the search field, and found nothing. Then, I searched for Janis and was able to find it without a problem. I'm not sure of other authors to try, but it appears that the search feature is very picky. I decided to go try a couple of searches using Janis Cooke Newman. Here are the results.
Janis: found Cooke: didn't find Janis Cooke: didn't find Newman: found Janis Newman: foundIt appears that you have to use the first and/or last names only. This makes me wonder how picky it is about finding the title of books as well.

Hi Susan, yes that is the author. I don't have good luck searching with author full names, so I try to pick a unique part of the author's name on whcih to search. Maybe it was just having trouble when I tried.-- Jamie in Michigan Currently Reading: False Impression by Jeffrey ArcherSee everything I've read this year at: www.michrxtech.com/books.html <http://www.michrxtech.com/books.html>
