Good Morning Mayrie,I change the m dashes to double hyphens because the m dash sounds too much like a word with my jaws; it drives me nuts! I have run across 3 hyphens instead of just 2. What are we supposed to do in this circunstance? Thanks!

In print, it's optional to have spaces, but in order to comply with current braille code, we agreed long ago to use the em dash or two hyphens without spaces around it. Please continue with this practise. As I understand it the Bookshare tools do that now so it is not necessary to eliminate them. However, I am wondering something. If there is no space before nor after the M dash, that is, if the two words that the M dash separates become one long word with the M dash in the middle of it with no spaces, what should we do? Do we insert the spaces or just leave it like that? To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
