Hello.  Also, Mayrie had suggested to me that I replace the m dashes with
the two hyphens.  This actually reads better with a voice synthesizer as a
screen reader because you don't hear the two words together as one.  Hope
this helps.

Oh, no, no, please don't insert spaces.  In print, it's optional to have
spaces, but in order to comply with current braille code, we agreed long ago
to use the em dash or two hyphens without spaces around it.  Please continue
with this practise.

In the past we were asked to replace the M dash with a double hyphen. As I
understand it the Bookshare tools do that now so it is not necessary to
eliminate them. However, I am wondering something. If there is no space
before nor after the M dash, that is, if the two words that the M dash
separates become one long word with the M dash in the middle of it with no
spaces, what should we do? Do we insert the spaces or just leave it like
that?
