Hi Jamie,

I'm not Amber, but... I used the advanced search link. I typed in Gallo,
Tina. When I got a list of results, I used the "modify your results"
section, chose author, and then opened the combo box listing specific
authors from which I could choose. Your author was not among them. This
implies to me that there are none of her books on the site. I infer this
because when I did the search with an author that I know exists on the site,
her name comes up in the list of authors available for viewing.

It is definitely different. But it does work. It isn't as comforting, as
you don't get an actual message telling you that a particular author doesn't
exist on the site when that is the case. But it does work. Change is
frustrating sometimes, isn't it?

Mayrie

Amber, the last name is Gallo (no w on the end). Tina is the first name.

Tell me if you find any books by her at all without getting hundreds or
thousands of results and tell me how you do it?

I can find a Donald Gallo but without searching through lots of results I
can't come up with others. I liked it better when I could type in Gallo and
get all authors with that name, or even Tina Gallo (though I used to find
the more you put in the more chances you had of not finding something that
really was in the collection) and get only those authors.
