I hope the Bible is going to be considered 66 books. I don't know how anyone would ever open a file containing the whole thing. Maybe the bks could contain the whole thing, but when unpacked should be more than one file. I realize that wasn't the question you asked, but just thought it should be considered as well. I already have a Bible I use, but maybe others would like to use this one. If anyone wants to use it to look up scriptures used in references it will need to have both chapters and verses marked. I just got used to hearing the numbers and tuning them out when reading continuously. Another consideration is how the chapters are marked. If they just have a number there it wouldn't be as easy to search for the chapter numbers without finding verse numbers, so it might as well not have verse numbers. If the chapter numbers are unique from verse numbers, then the verse numbers could be of use to some people. The daisy file should at least have the chapters marked up, so they can be found and navigated to as the headings in the newspapers can be. That's just my opinion though, and as I said, I won't be the one using it. Hello folks, We've received a very nice version of the King James version of the Bible to put on Bookshare.org. We're currently testing the files in-house, and I had a question about formatting for all of you volunteers who are also users. Would you prefer that individual verses are designated in addition to chapters? Or do you prefer the individual chapters to be labeled but not the verses? I think the implications are that you can listen to a number after virtually every two sentences or listen to a number about every 20 or 30 sentences. Let me know the verdict about the better option.
