Hi Julie (and others),

Chapters should have been books in my last comment. . .

I also noted in a previous post that I will talk to the engineers and
see if there's any way to work with the books rather than the whole New
Testament or Old Testament. . .but the Old and the New might be as good
as it gets.

Best,
Marissa

Hi, Marissa. I don't think the Bible has to be divided into separate
files
for chapters, but having them divided by books would be nice, maybe not
all
as separate downloads, but as someone else suggested, maybe if they
could
all be packed into one file, but once they were unpacked, each book of
the
Bible would be in its own file. I'll probably end up using it either
way,
though, so I think you all for it. Take care.

Hi folks,

Thanks for all of your wonderful feedback on the Bibles, it's duly
appreciated. About ten minutes after I sent out my initial inquiry, I
found out that we will be putting both versions of the Bibles on the
site, one with the verses marked and one without for your reading
pleasure. I'm happy to know that this is essentially the verdict I'm
hearing on the freelist.

The suggestion about cutting down the Bibles into chapters is a good
idea, but I don't know how feasible it would be for a variety of
reasons. I'll keep you posted.

Take care,
Marissa
