Our birding lately seems to be only comprised of birds we notice while doing other things.… 4/1 Brown Thrasher singing in neighbor's yard 4/2 House Wren singing in front yard 4/4 Black-crowned Night Heron fishing in Beargrass Creek (at work/ near DuPont Circle) 4/6 Several Barn Swallows zipping along creek at work; high flying, lone Tree Swallow headed north; kettle of 18 Black Vultures thermaling incredibly high southwestward, then getting serious and flying north in formation.
