On Monday while waiting for our power to come back on, I had a nice variety of
migrants come through our back yard, some of which made visits to our bird bath:
Swainson's thrush - 3
Gray-cheeked thrush - 1
Veery - 1
Tennessee warblers - 2
Black-throated green - 2 (one tried to get into the house)
Scarlet tanager female - 1
Chestnut-sided warbler - 1
Magnolia's - 2
Blackburnian warbler - 1
Bay-breasted warbler - 1
Redstart - 2
Rose-breasted grosbeak - 1
Also, had 3 adult wood thrushes with a juvenile at bird bath which was nice to
see
We have 2 juvenile summer tanagers hanging around and an adult male showed up.
We still have about 4 hummingbirds - no adult males
(We just got our electric back on (yeah!) or I would have posted earlier)
