I am new to shooting competition and want to practice as much as possible.
I am not a current member but am interested in joining. A member stated you
have practices can you tell me how often practice? Or is anyone willing to
train me and possibly 2 friends for $?

can live with one second per point down. I don’t think it will change the
outcome of matches much.
Fault lines will eliminate the subjectivity of cover calls, inconsistent
enforcement of which was a big problem. Some people are concerned that
fault lines will make it harder to engage some targets. This is true.
However, I think it can be addressed by good stage design.
CCP and BUG dimensions/weights changed to make them more realistic,
eliminating some gamer guns from those divisions.
The new target has a 4” down zero circle in the head box. This adds a
little spice to the game.
Everything else in the new rules is simplification, with many
restrictions removed.
So, as far as I am concerned, BAS will remain an IDPA club.
