My pleasure as always, Terry (D). As for me being the list "MVP" on this topic ...well, I don't know about = that one but I like pitch in for the sake of our colleagues, where I beli= eve that I can make a useful contribution. Several on this list have far= =20more specialized knowledge in some key areas of Word (especially in ma= cro development) than do I, and I take off my hat (no, not my HAT) to the= m. The abbreviation MVP, however, does remind me that you (we all) should tr= y the Aldi MVP (Made in Victoria Premium) lager. 4.7% alcohol in 330ml s= tubbies (massively reduces the excise component compared to 4.9+% and 375= ml) and just under 25 bucks a slab for a 50+ buck a slab quality beer! Best to have one of those over lunch (a stubby - not a slab please or you= 'd go all "monosyllabic") then return to work, working as best you can wi= thin what Word will do, not try and push it over its limits. ...and remember, in a true graphical window icon mouse pointer system (WI= MPS) operating system (like the venerable old Amiga) the kernel instantly= =20starts the GUI, which runs DOS shells as you need them, the DOS doesn'= t run the GUI in a shell overlay that can fall away at any time, like wit= h Windows. Put simply, Windows, much like everything else Microsoft, is little but a= =20massively inefficient fake, propped up by brute force CPU (and marketi= ng) power. Sincerely, Michael E. You're right, it appears to be the limitation of Word I was hoping it wouldn't be. Especially thanks for spending so much of your time so that I (and others) spend less of my (our) time in wasteful pursuits. And for providing welcome bouts of humour! My nomination for list MVP goes to you. There are several close seconds. Among them (from the emails I've kept) would be Sonja, Howard, Naomi, Warren, Stuart, Bill, Craig, Rhonda, Christine, Rob, Robert... There are plenty of others, especially in areas of little use to me (like RoboHelp etc, which I don't use so emails get deleted) so please don't feel offended if I've left you out. Keep up the good work.
