So it does! Quite clearly seen by doing a Shift-right-click over the
Printers (UniPrint icon). "null:" can be seen in the writable box beside
the File radio icon after doing a re-boot. The correct path is shown
after clicking UniPrint's iconbar icon.

Clicking the UniPrint icon sets the path correctly and is a good
workaround. Thanks Martin for pointing this out.
