you machine the foam mandrels to the desired shape?

The pot life is ~30 minutes with this, I would estimate. At least 15
minutes is spent mixing and under vacuum and then pouring it in the grain
casting assembly. The grain is tack less to the touch after 12 hours, and
after 24 hours it is cured enough to to any post machining to the grain that
is needed. The grains are cured at ambient (~68-72F). I don't remove any
mandrels, I use foam ones that can be removed with acetone. This allows
more complex shapes.
