How many umbilical accidents/failures have there been over the years?
Even ifthey didn't lead to LOV, that gives us a clue as to dimensions
of the problem. If they're rare, we're looking at a "live volcano" -
the risk is there, but we've been lucky. If they're non-existent,
that's another matter entirely.
