We had a huge EO (ethylene oxide) plant explosion because of a leak and
insulation and autoignition. A single but big bang flattening all.
That nobody was hurt was the main thing. The plant was torn down and rebuilt
after. Most (like me) were on the shift bus going home when it happened.
Very heavy equipment had flown kilometers far and penetrated a hangar I
found the next morning.
The accident was kept out of the news 100 % IIRC. Explosion? What explosion
