I'd suggest "turbopump" for turbine-driven pumps (analogous to
automotive "turbocharger" for a turbine-driven supercharger) and
"turbine pump" for, well, a pump that's a turbine.
Simple and fairly self-explanatory.

and it's useless to fight them. They're just such natural mistakes
that all the corrections in the world won't help. Instead, one has to
deal with them the way one deals with all the other ambiguous words in
the language: by supplying enough redundancy to make the meaning
clear.
(Or, well, by taking calculated advantage of the ambiguity so as to
deceive people in a way that's plausibly deniable -- but that's
another matter.)
