Interesting thought. Easier to get flow area, harder to get lots of
flow depth -- you'd probably want to choose a finer screen (or whatever)
to reduce the number of layers needed for complete catalysis.
In diesel engines with "MAN" direct injection combustion was
controlled via a central air mass vortex. fuel heavy mix on the outside
combusted gas in the center.
Would this be applyable to decomposing H2O2?
Take a cylinder with walls clad in catalytic and a central outflow
on one end.
inject H2O2 in a vortex inducing fashion so that centrifugal forces
push the denser H2O2 out on the wall while the decomposed gases
collect in the center and are ejected.
