You can circumvent that limitation by the following method, which effectively
becomes a null transform on the image data. This is the procedure on a Mac:
1. Apply Generic RGB profile to non-managed image
2. Open print dialogue.
3. Choose Photoshop manages colors
4. Choose Generic RGB again as the printer profile
5. Disable printer color management as usual.
6. Print
