The needle depth on any machine is a set depth durring the timing process.
their ar no machines that allow on the fly depth change.
It must be set exactly to allow the hook to pick up the thread and loop the
bobbin.
if you think your stitches are being pulled too tight then increase the lower
therad feed # or increase the material thickness # and see if that helps.
