[amayausers] Multiple selecting elements

Hi All,
I'm think I'm following what the help says in Design Shop Pro + (V6.08.522)
for selecting multiple elements, but I cannot get multiple selections. It
does not working trying to lasso elements, the lasso draws but soon as you
let go of the mouse the lasso is not there. Using(holding) the ctrl or
shift keys and left mouse only selects the last element clicked on in the
project tree or view window. HELP.. (and I have been able to do it at some
point in the past - at least I remember doing it in class)
