Dear laysondesigns, Is there a chance you have your fast frame window mounted upside down on the fast frame bracket. The underside of the fast frame is supposed to be touching the needle plate when you run. If it's off the needle plate or bouncing while it runs, you could have thread breaks constantly. Make sure the fabric (hat) is not moving and that is really is stuck to the backing while it's running. Since you sound like you're new to the Amaya, stick with the Auto settings before you jump into the standard settings of the Acti-feed. Make sure your "Presser Foot" is all the way down. You will get thread breaks if this is any higher than it's supposed to be. I am experiencing many thread breaks using the 6" Radius Hat frame. What am I doing wrong. I'm using the sticky backing, I've adjusted to a slower speed, and I mean slower. I've tried different setting on the Acti-Feed from Auto to Standard settings. I've raised and lowered the pressure foot. I thought these were suppose to help in making production faster. How is that possible if I have to keep re-threading the needles. Is there something that I'm missing, some settings that I'm not doing. For the heck-of-it, I hooped up a cap on a 15cm round hoop and ran the same design with out changing any settings, and it ran all the way through with no problems. Please help me.......... =========================================================== The AmayaUsers Mailing List Website: http://www.amayausers.com Discussion Board: http://www.amayausers.com/boards Subscribe/Unsubscribe: http://www.amayausers.com/list =========================================================== =========================================================== The AmayaUsers Mailing List Website: http://www.amayausers.com Discussion Board: http://www.amayausers.com/boards Subscribe/Unsubscribe: http://www.amayausers.com/list ===========================================================
