Move to the program you want to delete and press yellow. That's the second
colour button from the right.

Thanks. I can see to read the menu items so I can play back recorded items. How
do I delete programs which I no longer need?

Yes you can record and watch them back.

However you can't easily add series links.

Nor is it possible for you to know what programme you're about to click into
from the on screen menu.

To access the programmes you've recorded, you hit the tv guide button which
immediately starts playing music through your TV so you know you're there in
the menu. You then hit the green button, just above the 2 button, and it takes
you into the list of programmes you've recorded - but there is no audio clue to
reassure you here.

This menu has all the programmes you have recorded plus (at the bottom) all the
programmes cued up to record in the next 7 days).

So. How do you find yesterdays EastEnders that you recorded? Well it's bound to
be near the bottom of the list of programmes on your menu. So use the arrow
keys to arrow up which takes you to the last item on the list, in the same way
your PC's start menu does.

You then press the big round key in the middle of the arrows, the select key.
If the menu music doesn't disappear, then you know you've been trying to click
into a programme that hasn't yet recorded and is cued up ready to go in the
next few days.

What I do then is arrow up a few times, guessing at how many programmes I've
got cued to record. So maybe up 4 times. Then I press the select button again.
If the menu music disappears, you know you're looking at a screen which gives
you more details about the programme you're about to watch. Click the select
key again and you're into the programme - or,most likely, into the last minute
of the programme before it. So fast forward a minute or two and you'll
hopefully find the BBC1 programme announcer saying something helpful like:
"EastEnders now, and who's gonna take over running the cafe tonight?"

If it's not the programme you want, you should be able to work out when the
programme was recorded, in order to suss whether you then need to arrow further
up or further down to find last night's EastEnders.

To get out of the programme you don't want to watch, hit the 'backup' button
which is below the down arrow key; do it once or twice until you hear the menu
music again. You can then arrow down for a more recently recorded show, or
arrow up for one that was recorded before the one you just clicked into. It's
all in chronological order of when they were recorded.

It's not as tricky as it sounds, in fact it's easy. And you can pause live TV
very easily by pressing a pause button, and play by pressing play.

If you're watching a TV show and you feel like you would rather watch it later
.. just hit the record button. It'll grab the programme from the start and end
recording at the end. It'll add itself to the bottom of the menu I just talked
about.

You can record two programmes at once.

You can choose what programmes you want to record from their website. You will
need a bit of sighted help in the first instance to setup your account and web
password on your TV set top box.

Hope useful.
