Hi James, I haven't found a way to do what you want, but I find Napster pretty accessible. As for the Total Recorder solution, it basically sucks. Have you tried it? If you convert a WMA to MP3 by recording the output, you lose the original quality, and because Total Recorder is Analog, it doesn't record the raw output from the sound card, only what you hear, which introduces hiss, so I think it is a much overrated product. It's own sound driver also sucks. It is good for recording Net streams, but if you want to do any quality recordings, forget it. That's my experience anyway. I know it's a roundabout way of doing things, but Total Recorder's Virtual Sound Driver will do the little job you were asking about in a previous message, and it will be quicker if you use accelerated recording mode :). This is the only way to do it I've found. By the way, have you found any way to get rid of the Napster Home Page when you first sign in, so that you can look at the local files stored in your computer? I haven't managed it, I just have to make sure that I don't sign in until I'm ready to do something that won't display that page. I really hope one of the legal music download services like Napster comes out with a completely screen-reader accessible client at some stage. I would certainly be a far more regular user of their services if the software wasn't such a total pain. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
